A garden wedding~~~

Aunt E and Uncle L tied the knot yesterday at the Fort Canning Park... Gong xi Gong xi!!!

See the happy couple waving... and seriously this is the most sober moment for them... esp the groom... hahahaha!!! Less than 2 hours after, there's a lobster-coloured groom stoning away while his pretty bride tried to hold the fort mingling with the guests... :P aiyo.. wat are the brothers doing??

During the speech, we can hardly make out what the groom was saying... he was practically slurring... hee... already a miracle that he's still standing... :P still we can hear him thanking someone very important to him... then the bride helped the groom finished off with a list of thanks... they are really a couple who's always there to give support to each other... Way to go, Lorbert and Enrica!!!

Was an eye opener for me to attend this wedding reception... i'm seriously not those people whose fancies wedding parties or dinners except for those lucky few i attended... :P first time i attended a garden wedding... and we brought Micole along too!!

This lucky girl was given a goodie bag and bento set~~~ and she loves the cow stuffed toy in the goodie bag!! we brought the bento set back for Schnappi who couldn't go and she enjoyed the food very much!! Thanx to Aunt E & Uncle L!!!

Last but not the least... Happy Marriage to the both of U, Lorbert & Enrica!! Stay blissful and happy forever~~~~

Ms Muffin is sick~~

Haven't posted much recently... and yes, sad to say... i'm sick... haizz~~~ wondered if it's because of the stress... with all the bugetting and audit preparations :P

I'm hate to fall sick... esp with flu or cough... because i always take a long time to recover... and sometimes i can sick overnight... I can be fine in the day then suddenly get sick in the night... :( I should seriously start my exercise regime once more... not only to get rid of the lard (as Bb calls it) around my waist.. and also to build up more resistance against viruses... hee...

Well hopefully i can recover soon... Aunt E's big day coming soon... at last... A garden wedding leh... i've never been to one before.... should be very interesting~~~

I WANT TO QUIT MY F**KING JOB!!!!!

I saw Aunt E's old msn nick.... as above.... it soooo fit my current mood!! Very mentally drained these 2 weeks... i wonder if it's old age or my incapability... seems like i have problems with those tasks given to me.... is it me? or is it others??

I happened to chanced upon this website "Fuck this job.com"... rather hilarous postings some of them... made me feel better after reading...

I hope things will roll out smoothly without hitches... else i really dunno how long i can tahan still...

My first experience at the Singapore Flyer

Pity it was raining that day... so the photos taken out from the capsule wasn't exactly good... but photos inside the cabin were quite good thou... cuz both of us are so cute~~~ wahahaha... did i hear someone puke?? :p

Will be going for another ride in Nov... with daddy and mummy... hopefully the weather is fine... hopefully i can catch the sunset~~~ perhaps bring them out for dinner too after that... dunno if Hippo and family wanna join us??

Cupcakes Fever...

Seems like there's a cupcake craze recently... Aunt E made her first cupcakes about 2 weeks ago... pretty nice pink cakes... need to improve on her sponge though... but honestly it was quite well done for her virgin try le... I swear i couldn't even make them look like "cups" if i were to try... haha!! Jia You.. Aunt E...

Then Joyce said she signed up for some learn-to-make-cupcakes class too... somewhere home learning in hougang... visited the website... seems interesting~~

Come to think of it... all these craze brings back a long-forgotten dream when i was younger... i remember that i was keen to learn baking in my school days but didnt have a chance too... i remember those times in Home Econ classes where we had a chance to bake some stuff... Yum yum~~

Maybe i shd drag Angeline along to go learn cupcake making early next year too... just like i dragged her to learn Korean with me... :P

Hectic week!!!

Gosh~~~ this is the "most unbearable" week that i recalled ever since 08 started... not to mention that ms ang went on her china trip (yes!! again~~)... the stupid budgeting round the corner... the re-org woes... the invisible arrows shooting from different directions... the stupid emails... the endless phone ringings... wah kau!! i'm so damned mentally drained and physically tired... seriously i dunno how long more i can "tong"...

What lies ahead i dunno... everything seems grey now... what's my job scope? who's exactly my boss? no one seems to be able to tell... now i'm really 走一步，看一步 liao... can do, DO... cannot do, then really hv to say tata liao...

"Burnt" After Reading...

Damned HOT weather yesterday, so we decided to head for the cinema... for the aircon :p... not much choice left since we missed the showtime for Eagle Eye... hence we settled for Burn After Reading... haven't seen any reviews for the show before... staff at counter showed us a short review and we wondered y it was under the genre "Comedy"...

Less than a min after the show started, we understood y the show was NC16... in a scene <5mins, the F-word popped up many times... and it goes on in the entire 90 mins... some "dark humour"... some funny scenes... some scenes that i find stupid...

Would i recommend this movie?? hmmm... tough decision. I would just say, "Go check out this movie if u are bored... and have nothing better to do... Laugh it off and de-stress... like me..." :)

China products??? hummmm....

Saw this scene at a supermart yesterday...

A dad took a pack of cracker biscuit off the shelf... and the son held up the packet and asked, "Daddy, where is this from??"... Dad took a look at the pack and says, "Oh from China... Put back... we dun buy..."

Seems like the melamine scare is real serious... many people are keeping themselves away from "Made in China" stuff... myself too... usually i seldom buy food stuff that's "Made in China"... so honestly it didn't really impacted me that much... i guess it's going to take some time before people can regain confidence in their products...

haizz... are we soon going to die before all food are "dangerous"? got bird flu lar.. water pollution lar.. pesticide danger.. Really... what is consider SAFE?

Angeline = Muscle Lady?

Last Saturday, we had chong qing steamboat for dinner... me, apple, angel & hubby... i tell u, we were really stuffed... it's the first time i've eaten soooo much in steamboat... food is rather nice... very long queue while we were eating... heng we went there early... :)

Dropped by Bugis Junction after that, coz apple says she needs a new dress for a wedding dinner.... god knows how many new dresses she bought for each dinner le... as usual with angel's hubby coming along, there are always some jokes to crack... haha!! he tried to land me in trouble lor... asking me if angel has grown fat... then he started to tell her what sort of gowns/ dresses are suitable for her... it was real funny seeing these 2 bickering... hahaha!!! so ended up angel says "your wife is a muscle lady.. so not suitable for this or that...".... heee :P

Looks like i've gotten myself a "motivator" to lose weight le... we must jia you and work hard together... muahahaha!!!

So I know I'm FAT...

Sad but true... think i've grown fat since i've stopped exercising the last few months :( so... now i'm starting to get back in action... haha!! Last sat i've at least managed to conquer 100 floors on the gym machine... ^^ next target will be 150 floors... Fighting!! :) next week i'm going to start my training regime again... hopefully i'll be able to burn off some fats... :P

Well i never imagined or dreamt of myself being "thin" or "slim"... hee... it's tough lar... for me at least... someone who loves to snack and have irregular meals... i can either be hungry always or i can only eat one meal a day... so... ... i was telling Enrica today... i dun fancy thin women... they look weak and like bamboo sticks... hahahaha... ok... call me sour grapes but yes... i really dun fancy them... i prefer women a little fuller... maybe like Drew Barrymore (like E mentioned)... she's fleshy but with figure... nice... :)

Fat or not... i think getting some kilos off will definitely make me healthier... so that's my target till year end... must really put it into action... i'm not a NATO person... hee :)

NSRCC Getaway... ^^

Last Wednesday, our CD Trainers gang had a BBQ session at the NSRCC resort... it had been some time since we had a gathering le... a pity Stanley and wife had to give it a miss... it was a fun evening with lots of food and drinks... and chit-chatting session...

We couldn't bring Schnappi there :(... coz "NO PETS ALLOWED"... and she's too big to sneak in :P... so we had to leave her guarding our home sweet home... we did manage to sneak Mic in though... oops :) Micole had fun running freely in the bedroom... without having to agitate Schnappi.. haha!! And Mark's kids enjoyed playing with her... :)

Seems like I've been gorging myself with food that day... argh... my expanding waistline!!! But the food was nice... the satay, the chix wings, the cheese sausages, the squids... my my, i'm drooling again...

Been some time since we had BBQ le... if i rem correctly, the last BBQ i attended was at Chris's place... haha!! Hope there are more of these gatherings to come... next one i can look forward too is prolly at "The Yishun Lodge"... hahaha... Lorbert & Enrica's place... Maybe can enjoy Chef E's superb cooking le... and to celebrate her bdae!!! all these after the Nov trials... looking forward to it!!! :)

Mini Feast Sundae...

Me, Angel and Apple met up at Suntec's Gelare last Sat evening after gym... we had the Mini Feast Sundae (courtesy of Apple)... basically there are 8 flavours of ice cream balls... top up with the famous oreo cookies... yum yum...

haven't seen apple for some weeks le... so we spent around 2 hours at the cafe updating our gossips... and the most interesting quote i've heard that day is "Flower auto-bloom" (courtesy of an idiotic guy)... oops!! did i juz said idiotic??? heee...

Ms Ang's new hair-do...

after complaining about her hair last Friday, today she decided to put a nice little clip to keep them off her sleepy face... erm... honestly with the hairclip on, she looked more like a primary school girl now... i decided to take a photo for her but she didn't want to... so she "attempted" to cover her face... but hor... i think she's rather "scheming" lor... pretend dun want to take but only half cover her face... wahahahahaha!!!

it's such a waste not to share this cute photo... hence i'm posting it up... i'm quite sure she'll scream at me after she sees this... but who care her??? :p

I wish i have a Fourth-dimensional pocket like Doraemon's... .... there are some gadgets which i really like... maybe i should add them in my Wishlists... hee :)

Dokodemo door... a door which allows travel to anywhere by simply going through the door... the door is able to travel to the end of the universe... wown... meaning i no longer need air tickets to go round the world... muahahaha!!

Time Furoshiki... time cloth that has the ability to advance or reverse time depending on which of its two different colored sides are used... hmm... does that mean that i can always re-live the joyous moments... or reverse time when i hv regrets... or better still, to advance time and make working hours shorter... ahah... less miseries :p

i like this Jap OST cover for Beautiful Life... very got "feel" hor... remembered watching this jap drama couple of years back when jap dramas very still very hot... i tell u... cry like mad... it's so damn touching~~ the OST is nice too... mostly instrumental...

this is our ms ang... with her new hair-style (no duck tail)... hahaha!! looks like a school kid horrr....

she brings a lot of fun to our boring life in sp... with all her 冷笑话 and "exotic" views, we are sometimes dumbfounded and sometimes entertained... :P she's been well-trained over the past year here, now no more the soft-spoken person we first saw... Learning Korean~~

an-nyeong-ha-se-yo!!

me and angeline had started our basic korean class around 2 months ago and it's coming to an end this coming sat (13/9/08). it had always been my wish to learn a foreign language many years ago and i finally put it into action in 2008... :)

it was fun attending the classes... from getting to know the consonants and vowels... on to knowing my korean name... then to simple phrases... and longer conversational Q&As... and even to songs from 200 Pounds Beauty...

but hor... tho it's fun, it's quite stressful too... our seon saeng nim, Mr Brian, is a rather interesting person... everytime he starts the "i reum i mwo ye yo" thingy, we would start to "tremble with fear"... hahaha... then he sometimes modifies the questions and we will like "Huhhh??"

nevertheless, it will be the last lesson this weekend and he says he's going to "test" us... and see if we have any face left... haha... hv to start 热功-ing soon liao... think shd take a break before starting the intermediate class... hee :)
